In this projected we learned about gait which the stride or movement of a person when moving usually, while walking or running. We used the Physics Toolbox Accelerometer app to track the acceleration of each group member's walk. The app recorded acceleration on the x, y, and z plane. We recorded the gait of three group members. The data was then put into spreadsheet where we made graphs. These graphs where of the x acceleration over time. We looked at the data and came up with an equation that would take in someone's gait specifically their frequency of steps to determine the person's height. From our data we created a gait analysis report and mini presentation to show our findings. I focused on gathering and analyzing data for this project.

I believe the project turned out great. The report and presentation look clean and contains all the needed information. Several times the group felt every disconnected but this was mostly due to members needing to focus on other project deadlines. The data collection at the beginning was rough since we didn't set guides lines for exactly what we were looking for. So we collected a lot of data but because of issues mentioned earlier little of our collected data was usable to make our equation. However closer to the deadline we grouped together and collaborated more. We meant up more and organized ourselves. Assigning different task such as writing the report, data analysis and creating the presentation. We worked well together each member completing their jobs. I personally had trouble understanding the data and graphs from the accelerometer, but other group member helped me understand eventually this led to the idea of how to created equation for our data. I quite enjoyed learned how to graph data and create a model for it. I hope to have another chance to do something similar again. I liked creating the slides presentation and I think I did a good job compiling the information into small presentable way. Next time I plan to be organized and try to be more focused on the project so there's not another rocky start.
